This year marks the 14th running of one of the most scenic trail events in the state. Join over 1,300 participants to run and walk the inside trails of Mackinac Island during the last open weekend of the season.
Come enjoy special race features - commemorative medals, a high performance long sleeve embroidered race shirt, a post-race pasta party, special Halloween events for adults and kids, great end-of-season sales - plus the beauty of late fall on the Island. Half Marathon
The Half Marathon will start in front of Mission Point Resort. The beginning of the course follows the shoreline featuring breathtaking views of the lake, neighboring islands and the historic Arch Rock formation. You will then veer off the shoreline and wind through the beautiful island interior on bike trails and roads. The roads are mostly paved with some gravel. The last segment of the race returns to the shoreline, with the finish line located in front of the Mission Point Resort.

5.7 Mile Run & Walk
The 5.7 Mile will start in front of Mission Court, located next to Mission Point Resort. The first half of the course winds through the beautiful island interior on bike trails and roads. The roads are mostly paved with some gravel. The last half of the race brings you out to the shoreline, with the same breathtaking views of the Half Marathon. The finish line will also be the same as the Half Marathon, located in front of the Mission Point Resort.

Note: Absolutely no roller blades, pets, wagons or other wheeled vehicles will be allowed on the course. Baby joggers are strongly discouraged due to safety concerns. Please be considerate of other people along the course. Share the road by staying on the innermost recreation lane. Amenities & Awards
There will be commemorative medals for all finishers and high quality embroidered terra-cotta windshirts to the first 1,300 pre-registered entrants. Sorry, but we cannot guarantee a windshirt on race day to late entrants. Post-race refreshments for all entrants.
Awards: Awards for all three events will be given to the Overall winners, the Masters Male and Female winners, and the first three finishers in each age division.

Post-Race Pasta Dinner
After you have finished your run or walk, enjoy the camaraderie of your fellow participants at the Post-Race Pasta Dinner. The dinner will be held from 2:15 to 4:00 PM at Mission Point Resort, and will feature two kinds of pasta, salad, beverage and assorted desserts. There will be entertainment, door prizes and lots of fun! Only limited Pasta Dinner tickets will be available on race day.
Pasta Dinner Tickets: $16.00 Adults/$10.00 children (children under 12 who are guests of the hotel eat free under the "Kids Eat Free" program—$1.50 gratuity). Travel Information

Number Pick-Up/Late-Registration
Entrants are required to pick up their numbers, scoring chips, and race souvenirs at Mission Point Resort on:
- Friday, October 23, 5:00 - 7:00 PM
- Saturday, October 24, 9:30 - 11:15 AM
Late Registration is also available during these times.
We recommend you catch a ferry from Mackinaw City or St. Ignace no later than 10:00 AM on race day. Race Scoring
The race is timed using the new ChronoTrack® system. You must complete the race with your chip attached to your shoe or your time will not be recorded. Please follow the instructions in your race packet on attaching the chip to your shoe. Note that the new chips DO NOT have to returned at the end of the race.
