A unique shirt will be guaranteed to all early entrants. We cannot guarantee a shirt on race day for those who register after May 29, 2008.
STARTING TIME
10K Run and Walk will both start at 9:30 a.m.
Lil’ Lilac Kids Race starts at 11:00 a.m.
LOCATION
Race will start at Windermere Point (about 1\4 mile west of ferry docks), and finish at the Mackinac Island School.
CHECK-IN
Saturday at Mackinac Island Public School starting at 8 a.m.
TRADITIONAL COURSE
Race begins east with a run or walk through historic downtown Mackinac Island, turning onto a challenging uphill, flattening out to a slight downhill, through the wooded-center of the Island. The last leg of the race is on the shore road, offering the unique opportunity to take in the beautiful Straits of Mackinac. The entire run is on paved roads. Lil’ Lilac Kids race is approximately 1/4 and run in school area.

AWARDS
Great shirts guaranteed to all pre-registered entrants.
T-shirts and something special for Kid’s Race participants.
Post-race refreshments for all participants.
Run & Walk: Overall and Masters male and female, and top three (3) finishers in each division.
DIVISIONS
Run Divisions: 14 & Under; 15-16, 17-19, 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over plus a Clydesdale Division in three weight classes: 185-199 pounds, 200-219 pounds, 220 pounds & over. You must indicate weight on entry form
Walk Divisions: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45- 49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over
RESULTS
Race will be scored with the Championchip, you must wear a chip on your shoe to be scored. There will be no start line mats, therefore the race will be scored on gun time
Results will be posted on race day.
Awards Ceremony will follow race. Please arrange to have someone pick-up your award if you will not be at the award ceremony—awards will not be mailed unless arrangements are made to pay postage.
